Vildnis

Vildnis opstod beklageligvis ved en løgn. Ejeren af spillestedet Drop Inn i København havde fået et afbud fra et band. Og så bildte bassisten Niels Dahl ham ind, at han havde et band, som kunne komme og spille i stedet. Selvom det slet ikke passede.

På det tidspunkt mødtes Niels dagligt med den skuespiller-uddannede Morten Nørby. De to havde dengang nogle tanker om at skrive og komponere og opføre en art syngespil. Ifølge dem selv sad de og fordybede sig i en atmosfære af søgen, sandhed og væren. Spørger man andre, var der også noget andet i gære. Men arbejdet blev gjort. Senere Vildnis-klassikere som Røde Roser og Røde Rulleskøjter blev komponeret til lejligheden, og jobbet gik godt. Ejeren af Drop Inn opdagede aldrig, at han var blevet taget ved næsen.
