Clement Direkte blev en af DR2s store seersuccesser. Over hele 31 fredage kunne man opleve karismatiske Clement Kjersgaard i skarp duel med ugens hovedpersoner inden for politik og underholdning. Clement Direkte var et dristigt og begavet program blandet med kritisk journalistik og pågående satire, hvor Clement både uddelte og modtog verbale hug på en måde, som ikke før var set i dansk tv.
