Denne anden boks i serien The Jørgen Leth Collection indeholder Leths sportsfilm med hovedvægten på cykelfilmene, hvor 'Stjernerne og vandbærerne' og 'En forårsdag i helvede' står som nyklassikere indenfor genren. Instruktøren var træt af den klichéredne sportsjournalistik og mere optaget af "det indre, psykologiske drama i slagene mellem de store ryttere".

'Stjernerne og vandbærerne' skildrer Giro d'Italia i 1973, hvor Ole Ritters enkelstart er det filmiske og emotionelle højdepunkt.

I 'En forårsdag i helvede' blev det navnkundige et-dagsløb Paris-Roubaix indfanget med 27 kameraer placeret strategiske steder på ruten. Dermed var det lagt i manges hænder, om det lykkedes at indfange dramaet. Begge film har med de givne spilleregler karakter af en kunstnerisk udfordring, hvilket også gælder 'Den umulige time', der skildrer Ole Ritters forsøg på at generobre timerekorden.
