Lyden af The Late Great Fitzcarraldos er som sand mellem tæerne. Bittersøde kærlighedssange der vækker minder om Otis Reding, Brian Eno, John Cale og Luther Vandross. Det er sofistikeret luksuriøs popmusik der rammer, hvor det skal.

The Late Great Fitzcarraldos, der består af Jakob Millung (Moi Caprice), Jacob Funch (I Got You On Tape) og Tobias Buch Andersen (Maborosi), udgav deres første LP, i maj på Fake Diamond/Alarm i Skandinavien og Fake Diamond/Word&Sound i resten af verden.

Den selvbetitlede LP indeholder 10 numre, der udforsker bandets unikke kærlighedsaffære med soul, strand og særegenhed. Udgivelsen er et udansk sensuelt favntag med musikhistorien og den tilbagelænede pop.

De tog SPOTfestivalen med storm sidste år og har ageret toursupport for Efterklang. The Late Great Fitzcarraldoz er et band der skal opleves. Det er en fræk oplevelse!
